OWNER:
Tracey Schork is an Ann Arbor native who always showed a love for animals
growing up. She got her first horse Brandy when she was a young teenager
and kept that first horse for 24 years until his passing in 2006 at 32
years old. She provided Brandy a home and a lifelong commitment by purchasing
a plot of land with the help of her parents in 1986. Soon after, Tracey
and her family built a barn for Brandy and a few years later built a home
where Tracey and her husband Ted now raise their family. The mother of
three children, Heather age 5 and 3 year old twins Adam and Bella, Tracey
puts new meaning in the words "time management". Over the years,
Trailsend Stable has become a breeding farm where foals are raised with
love and care. Tracey believes in breeding quality horses that are easy
enough for the amateur to train on their own without compromising quality.
With that quality comes a horse that is also good enough to take a professional
to the top. Many fine examples of these horses may be seen on our graduates
page. Tracey has a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Eastern
Michigan University and is a certified equine massage therapist. She uses
the skills she acquired from both these backgrounds and applies them to
her everyday work with horses.
 TRAINER:
Leslie Lammers believes that her best attribute as a trainer
is her ability to build confidence in young horses and riders allowing
them to have an "I can do it attitude." She began her own riding
career at age 9 on the Hunter/Jumper Circuit but within a few years Leslie
found her passion for Three-Day Eventing. By the young age of 16, she
was invited to be a working student with Olympian's Bruce
Davidson and Stephan
Bradley at Chesterland Farms in PA. She moved up the ranks and quickly
excelled in her sport. While in Pennsylvania she also was able to receive
dressage instruction from USDF Hall of Famer Jessica
Ranhoussen.
Leslie felt that she would like to learn each of the
disciplines of Eventing separately by the top riders throughout the Country.
So, soon after she graduated high school she shifted her attention first
to Dressage. She was sponsored and purchased the FEI German Imported Stallion
Waltmar. Leslie and Waltmar moved to California to get full time training
from highly acclaimed Grand Prix Dressage Rider Leslie
Morse. The highlight of this journey was her invitation to ride with
Reiner
Klimke in a Clinic at the L.A. Equestrian Center!
She also received instruction by Grand Prix Jumper rider
Susie
Hutchinson and from equestrian genius the late Jimmy
Williams at the Flintridge Riding Club in California. She then moved
south to New Orleans where she began working with racehorses at The Fairgrounds
Racetrack. She became an exercise rider and groom where she gained a tremendous
amount of knowledge about conditioning horses and leg problems. Finally,
she returned back to Michigan a few years later to go to school at the
University of Michigan - Dearborn where she completed a double bachelors
in Communications. Throughout school she worked at the former Detroit
Race Course galloping racehorses and obtained her own Thoroughbred Trainer's
License. For the past few years she has been actively involved in breeding
sporthorses. Now married to her husband Paul and the mother of toddler
twin girls, Hailey and Lia, she is finding time to take her career to
a new height once again by campaigning our Holsteiner Stallion Reesling
in Dressage. Leslie is available for Clinics and Horse Training. (734)

PROFESSIONAL
HANDLER: Kellie Trosin is currently finishing up her education
in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She has been riding and showing horses for over
15 years. In this time she has worked with many different breeds and disciplines.
As a teenager, Kellie spent her time on the competitive Quarter Horse
and Hunter/Jumper circuits where she learned how to have an edge on her
competitors by presenting the nicest turned out horses at the shows. Her
passion is now dressage. Keep your eye out in the show ring for Kellie
and her newly approved RPSI mare. Kellie has also been a working student
with Olympian Great Michael
Poulin in Florida. She has also ridden with many top clinicians including
Lynda
Alicki and Shannon
Peters. Kellie is extremely patient when working with horses in hand
and under saddle and knows what it takes to provide horse and rider a
calm positive atmosphere before a big show. She shows her love for animals
on a routine basis and we are proud to have her involved with handling
Reesling. If you want help polishing up before your next competition or
