This handsome Holsteiner stallion by
Rantares is approved for breeding by the Rheinland Pfalz-Saar and Belgian
Warmblood Associations. Reesling's bloodlines
contain the sought after Ramiro, Cor de la Bryere and Lady Killer lines.
He is an exceptional stallion with an equally phenomenal jumping and dressage
pedigree. If you are looking to add size and substance plus a wonderful
temperament to your foal, look no further. With his laid back attitude
and already standing 17.1 hands tall, Reesling is truly a gentle giant.
His dam was a very successful dressage horse showing through Prix St.
George. His sire, Rantares competed through FEI in dressage. Reesling
is a fantastic mover with power and elasticity which he generously passes
on to his foals.

WHAT PROFESSIONALS ARE SAYING
ABOUT REESLING
Since Reesling's 2007 riding debut he has begun attending
clinics as his "TEAM" works hard to polish him up for the show
ring. These top clinicians are not only impressed with his gates but with
his incredible temperament and work ethic.
Heike
Kemmer is a well know Olympic Gold Medallist and World Champion from
Germany. Reesling and Leslie were invited to attend a Symposium hosted
by the ISR/Oldenburg's during their 100 day test mid-term at Paxton Farms
in September 2007. Heike was very impressed with Reesling's incredibly
balanced Canter and commented many times about what a talented young Stallion
he is. Look for the upcoming professional training DVD that was filmed
for Heike's educational series. This particular session will be on training
a young horse.
During
the symposium, ISR/Oldenburg Breeding Director Dr. Christian Schacht pulled
Tracey, Leslie and Reesling aside to comment on how amazing Reesling's
bloodlines are and how long they have been absent from current German
breeding. He said that it was a breath of fresh air to see the older "F"
and "R" jumping line crossed so nicely, but yet producing a
fabulous dressage horse with three wonderful gates. Also, Dr. Schacht
was so intrigued with his rideability that he took us up on our offer
to see for himself and rode Reesling. He felt that the stallion was nicely
trained, extremely balanced equally, and a whole lot of fun! Following
the ride, Dr. Schacht asked us to present Reesling next year for ISR/Oldenburg
approval.
 Jochen
Hippenstiel is native to Germany. He is currently the head trainer
at Temple Farms in Illinois, home to the famous Lipizzan Stallions. He
is a Reitlehr FN, which is a Master Trainer in Germany that takes 15 years
to complete. He also has many Grand Prix horses to his training credit
that have had successes in the Olympics and in World Cup competitions.
After coaching Leslie Lammers and also riding Reesling himself, Jochen
had this to say: Reesling is a young, powerful stallion with three very
good gates and a great mind.
Maryal
Barnett is a top rated FEI judge, former Grand Prix rider and well
known clinician. Among many positive comments, Maryal feels that, "Reesling
is a well behaved stallion with a great future.
